Locating the Sick Mother’s Son in Fantasian: Neo Dimension

After making a narrow escape from a strange mechanical facility, Leo, the main character of Fantasian: Neo Dimension, finds himself in the town of En. He’s on a quest to recover his lost memories. However, En isn’t the most inviting place to live, especially with the looming threat of the Mechteria infection nearby. Many locals are also in need of help with various challenges.

The Mechteria infection is particularly hazardous, spreading a fatal illness to anyone who comes too close. One of its victims is a distressed mother searching for her son. Here’s a guide on how to complete the Sick Mother quest and locate her missing child.

Completing the Sick Mother Quest

You can take on this quest from the Sick Mother in En after you recruit Kina. She will ask you to find her son, who is likely somewhere in the Old District of En.

To reach the Old District, make your way through the Mountain Path, and then head to Owen’s house. You’ll find the boy to the left of the house, where he’s trying to fend off the Mechteria infection that’s creeping closer to town.

After talking to the boy, you’ll need to select the right dialogue options to encourage him to cooperate. Choose the following responses:

• Your mother’s been looking for you.
• Your mother is very upset.
• How could you make her cry like that?!
• Why don’t you go home and let her know you’re safe?

Once you’ve had this conversation, the boy will return to his mother. Make sure to head back to the Sick Mother to complete the quest. In gratitude for your help, she will reward you with one Iron Key, which can unlock various treasure chests scattered throughout the game world.
