How to Begin Tsukijima’s Grimoire of Eld
To start the quest for recruiting the Diviner, just talk to the Diviner in Tsukijima. He will request that you find the Grimoire of Eld, a book of dark spells.
Where to Locate the Grimoire of Eld
Sadly, the Grimoire of Eld can only be acquired if, during the events related to Comroon Island, you permit the volcano to erupt, wiping out a significant part of the island and seemingly eliminating Zemio and its Salamander residents.
Letting the volcano explode opens up a new area to explore, known as the Emerged Island. This high-level dungeon rewards you with the Grimoire of Eld once you complete it. If you prevent the volcano from erupting, you’ll miss out on gaining Umbrology.
After obtaining the Grimoire, you can return to Tsukijima (even in its ruined state) and locate the Diviner. Providing him with the Grimoire will help you recruit the Diviner class to your team.
To unlock Umbrology, you must also show the Grimoire of Eld to the receptionist at the Incantations Lab and then set up the Umbrology Lab.
