Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 presents players with a vast world to explore, featuring a significantly larger map than its predecessor. The game consists of two large regions, each filled with settlements that house characters, all boasting their own unique stories, quests, and problems to solve.
As you journey through the game, you’ll encounter various characters, each offering a distinctive quest for Henry to undertake if he chooses to assist them. One example of this can be found in the Kuttenberg area, where the quest Seeking Justice awaits. This guide will provide you with all the necessary information to successfully complete this quest.
How to Start the Seeking Justice Quest
To initiate the Seeking Justice quest, you first need to have finished the All’s Fair quest and opted to give the stolen items to Pavel. Once that’s done, travel to Suchdol, located in the far western part of the map, and find Captain Frenzl.
Important: Avoid selecting the dialogue option that states Pavel is a thief, as this will report him and prevent you from continuing with the quest. If that option is your only choice, simply wait a few days and then ask him, "Do you need anything?"
Where to Find Pavel
Your next task is to track down Pavel, who has gone missing. Head to Kuttenberg and inquire with locals about his location. Start by speaking with Innkeeper Mole at the Hole in the Wall tavern, which is southeast of the city. You will have the choice to either persuade him through a speech check or pay him for the information.
Tip: Paying is often the easier option, as it only requires a small amount of money.
Following your chat with Innkeeper Mole, he will direct you to Scribe Tietz Vetter at the Kuttenberg Town Hall. Ask him about a specific hired hand, but be prepared for limited information. He will recommend speaking to two Cobblers, one of whom is located to the north. This northern cobbler will provide you with Pavel’s whereabouts.
Note: You may choose to speak to Pavel in the backroom, but this is optional and does not impact the story.
How to Complete Seeking Justice
Now, return to Captain Frenzl and speak with him again. You’ll face two choices:
- Tell him the truth about Pavel.
- Lie and tell him that Pavel has gone to Prague.
In this instance, we opted for the lie, claiming that Pavel went to Prague for a better life in Kuttenberg.
No matter which choice you make, completing the task will conclude the Seeking Justice quest.
