Your starting inventory in Dune Awakening is limited to 35 slots and can hold up to 175 pounds, which is decent but feels small when you’re on long trips collecting lots of resources. Right now, there’s no option to directly boost your inventory slots or weight capacity in the game. However, you can increase how many items you can carry by upgrading your vehicles’ storage. Building larger Inventory Modules for your vehicles and using them frequently helps move more items at once.
Most vehicles in Dune Awakening come with built-in storage that you can expand by adding an Inventory module, which you research and then craft in the Vehicle Fabricator. Keep in mind, any vehicle carrying items can’t be stored on you using the Vehicle Backup Tool. You need to empty its cargo before storing or retrieving it. If you find a safe spot—like outside a bandit camp or near a crashed ship—you can leave your vehicle there, fill it with loot, and then bring the items back to your main base.
It’s not clear if the game will add ways to increase inventory limits in the future. The limited inventory seems intentional, fitting the survival theme that emphasizes difficult choices and struggle.
