How to Locate and Capture Faleris in Palworld

Exploring Pals in Palworld

In Palworld, players can discover a range of flying Pals that assist in traversing the expansive map. However, many of the more agile Pals are only available later in the game and require additional resources for capture.

One noteworthy flying Pal is Faleris, typically first encountered in battle against Marcus at the PIDF Tower close to Duneshelter. Since capturing Faleris during this boss battle isn’t feasible, players will need to venture out into the world to locate it later. Once successfully caught, Faleris proves to be a valuable asset in both base management and combat due to its impressive speed.

Where to Locate Faleris

Faleris can be found on a small island known as the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the northeast region of the map. It’s crucial to prepare adequately before venturing into this area, as it falls under PIDF control, and they’ll attack upon sight. Moreover, players will be charged with trespassing if spotted by PIDF members.

Tip:

The closest teleportation point to No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary is the Deep Sand Dunes, located to the northeast of Duneshelter. If you’re aiming to capture Faleris, unlocking this teleportation point will prove beneficial, as you may need to travel here frequently.

Upon teleporting to the Deep Sand Dunes, players should summon a Pal capable of flying over the sea to reach the island. Faleris typically appears during the daytime but can also be spotted at night.

Keep in mind that Faleris has a relatively low spawn rate, meaning you may need to visit the island multiple times. Fortunately, its small size allows for easy navigation with a flying Pal.

Strategies for Capturing Faleris

Prepare for heavy resistance from PIDF Elite members on the island, so it’s advisable to equip numerous ammunition and high-level weapons, such as the Laser Rifle. In addition to PIDF soldiers, the area hosts many powerful Pals aside from Faleris. Hence, having Pals of at least level 50 is recommended to survive the encounter.

Your team should ideally include several Water-type Pals (e.g., Penking or Azurobe), as Faleris is a Fire-type Pal and is vulnerable to water attacks. These Pals can absorb several of Faleris’s attacks while dealing consistent damage, lowering its health enough for a successful capture.

Note: Refrain from including Grass-type Pals in your team, as they are weak against Fire-type attacks and may be easily defeated.

Once you’ve encountered Faleris, aim to reduce its HP to at least 20% for a viable chance to capture it. If its HP is too high, it will deflect your Pal Spheres, making it challenging to catch. Hyper Spheres (or higher) are recommended for catching it.

After bringing its HP down, throw a Hyper Sphere at Faleris to capture it. It may take a few attempts if you lack Legendary or Ultra Spheres, but they can do the trick.

Faleris’s Utility and Stats

Faleris is one of the fastest flying mounts in the game, falling slightly behind Jetragon in terms of speed, but still outpacing most other flying Pals. At level 38, you can unlock the Faleris Saddle for three Technology Points.

Once you’ve crafted the saddle, you can utilize Faleris for its Scorching Predator skill, which allows you to ride it as a flying mount. This skill is especially useful, as it enables Ice Pals to yield more items upon defeat.

Faleris Saddle Crafting Requirements:
  • Leather: 30
  • Cloth: 10
  • Refined Ingot: 30
  • Flame Organ: 25
  • Paldium Fragment: 30

In terms of work suitability, Faleris can greatly aid your base with its fast speed. With a level 3 ranking in Transporting, it can efficiently move various materials, and a level 3 in Kindling allows it to handle fire-related tasks swiftly.

If you find yourself struggling to capture Faleris, another option is to breed it. Combine a Vanwyrm and an Anubis in the Breeding Farm and keep Cake in it to produce a Huge Scorching Egg that can be incubated. However, catching Anubis can be equally challenging, making it simpler to capture Faleris in the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary.

Now you are fully equipped with the knowledge to chase after and hopefully capture Faleris, turning it into a valuable ally on your journey through Palworld.
