Farming Guide for Anaxa Materials in Honkai: Star Rail
As we anticipate the arrival of Anaxa in Honkai: Star Rail, players can begin preparing by collecting his materials ahead of time. This advance farming will ensure you have a majority of what you need once you obtain him from the character banners, whether during his initial appearance in Version 3.3 or in any future reruns. Alongside Castorice, Anaxa is one of the two new 5-star characters introduced in this update. He is a Wind unit that follows the Path of Erudition, specializing in dealing damage to multiple enemies simultaneously.
Anaxa’s abilities in the game will allow him to create new Weaknesses in enemies, effectively creating a power advantage over the Silver Wolf due to his capability to trigger these Weaknesses against multiple foes, rather than just one at a time. A standout feature of Anaxa’s abilities is his Ultimate. With this ability, he can apply all seven types of Weakness to his targets, even if only for a single round. This creates opportunities for his teammates to maximize their damage output based on how many Weaknesses a target possesses.
Confirmed Materials for Anaxa in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3
With Version 3.3 live, the complete list of Anaxa’s required materials has been confirmed. Initially, these materials were subject to change during beta testing phases, but you can now safely pre-farm them without worrying about modifications in the final release.
Pre-Farming Anaxa’s Ascension Materials
To unlock all of Anaxa’s potential through Ascension, gathering specific materials is crucial. You will need to collect Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament. These items drop from Black Tide Creatures found in various locations across Amphoreus. The most efficient method to farm Ethereal Omen is by participating in Calyx (Golden) activities in Amphoreus, where they guarantee drops. This method outshines running around maps and waiting for the creatures to respawn.
Tip: While Calyx (Golden) activities don’t drop Echoing Wail or Eternal Lament, you can use the Omni-Synthesizer to convert Ethereal Omen into these materials as needed.
Materials Needed for Ascending Anaxa
Refer to the table below for the materials required for Anaxa’s Ascension, organized by level:
Ascension Level | Materials Required | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Level 20 | 5x Ethereal Omen, 4,000 Credits | |
Level 30 | 10x Ethereal Omen, 8,000 Credits | |
Level 40 | 6x Echoing Wail, 3x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 16,000 Credits | |
Level 50 | 9x Echoing Wail, 7x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 40,000 Credits | |
Level 60 | 6x Eternal Lament, 20x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 80,000 Credits | |
Level 70 | 9x Eternal Lament, 35x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 160,000 Credits | |
Total Materials | 15x Ethereal Omen, 15x Echoing Wail, 15x Eternal Lament, 65x A Glass of the Besotted Era, 308,000 Credits |
For A Glass of the Besotted Era, which is exclusively used by select Wind characters, you can farm it from the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gloam activity located in the Penacony Grand Theater area. You will require 65 of these items, meaning you need to run the activity about 13 times at the highest difficulty.
In addition to these materials, you will need a total of 308,000 Credits to ascend Anaxa and another 508,000 Credits for leveling him up with Character EXP materials. If you find yourself short on Credits or EXP materials, consider farming at Calyx (Golden) activities, particularly in Amphoreus, which can yield both resources.
Pre-Farming Trace Materials for Anaxa
Anaxa also requires various materials to level up his abilities. These include Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, Eternal Lament, Rough Sketch, Dynamic Outlining, Exquisite Colored Draft, Lost Echo of the Shared Wish, Tracks of Destiny, and Credits. You can obtain additional Ethereal Omen and Echoing Wail from the Embers Exchange store, as well as through various assignments and limited-time events.
For his Traces, Rough Sketch, Dynamic Outlining, and Exquisite Colored Draft can be collected from the Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Erudition activity again located in the Penacony Grand Theater area. These materials are likely to take some time to accumulate.
Additionally, you will need to face the Grand Septimus boss to earn Lost Echo of the Shared Wish, which can only be attempted three times weekly. Farming this material may require patience depending on your current inventory.
For Tracks of Destiny, consider obtaining this rare item weekly from the Simulated or Divergent Universe activities. It’s also available through reputation rewards, special events, the battle pass, or the Embers Exchange store—though in-store supplies are limited.
Finally, be prepared to invest around 3 million Credits for the full Trace-leveling process to ensure Anaxa reaches his maximum potential.
By following this guide and beginning your farming now, you’ll be ready to make the most out of Anaxa once he lands in your roster!
