The "Fall of Medville Meadery" is one of the earliest side quests available in Mirthwood. In this quest, players must piece together clues to determine where to go, whom to meet, and where to find treasures. This aspect of the game can sometimes lead to confusion for players.
To embark on this quest, you’ll need to explore the forest and Blue Meadows to locate the deserted meadery and its hidden treasures. This guide will help you navigate the quest, detailing your destination and the loot you may encounter along the way.
How to Start the Medville Meadery Quest
You can kick off the "Fall of Medville Meadery" quest by finding a note attached to the town board in Brightoak. The note mentions that operations at the meadery have halted under mysterious circumstances. Your journey will take you northward to discover the meadery.
Head North from Brightoak
Alternatively, you can head northeast from your farm. Follow the path until you reach a crossroads with signs. Keep moving north until you see another signpost. The signs will indicate that Medville is to the east and the Foothills to the west. Continue to follow the path to the right until you arrive at the Medville town sign.
Important Tip: Be prepared for a couple of bandits lurking outside the buildings in Medville – one in front of a manor and another in front of a nearby shack.
Locate the Key to Unlock the Manor Door
To proceed with the quest, you’ll need to enter the Medville manor. Look for the key to the front doors on a stone table located southeast of the manor within the Medville grounds. Here, you’ll find the Manor Key along with a note.
Before you enter the manor, it’s a good idea to loot the shack to the left. Be cautious, as there’s a bandit positioned in front of it. Inside the shack, you’ll discover a chest containing the Beekeeper’s Hat and some coins.

Additionally, there’s a chest in this room that contains 20 Gold and some leather. Happy hunting!
