Withdrawing your weapon in Elden Ring enables you to stash it away and navigate more freely. To do this, simply press a specific button, which varies across the three gaming platforms. While sheathing your weapon has minimal effect on gameplay in Elden Ring, some players may find it beneficial for roleplaying scenarios.
How do you sheath your weapon?
For those on PC, simply hold down the E key in Elden Ring. Then click either the left or right mouse button; the left button corresponds with the left slot, while the right button is for the right slot. Opt for an empty slot to successfully sheath your weapon.
If you’re using a PlayStation 4 or 5, press and hold the Triangle button, then choose L1 for the Left Slot or R1 for the Right. Ensure the slot you wish to use is unoccupied.
To sheath your weapon on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, hold the Y button and select either LB for the Left slot or RB for the Right slot.
Additionally, you can sheath the weapon in your hand by first equipping it, then summoning Torrent. Afterward, wield your weapon by holding E for PC, Triangle for PS4 or PS5, and Y for Xbox, followed by selecting the appropriate slot as mentioned before. This will place the weapon on your back.
