Schedule 1 allows you to expand your drug business by providing various locations to attract customers, purchase supplies, and earn profits. A new venue introduced in the game is the Pawn Shop, where you can sell unwanted items. It operates similarly to actual pawn shops, offering you a price based on the item’s value.
With the latest update to Schedule 1, the Pawn Shop is now open for buying and selling items. Mick, the shop owner, is ready to assist with your pawning needs. Although utilizing this new location may seem a bit complex, it’s generally easy to navigate unless you upset Mick with unreasonable counteroffers.
Where to Find the Pawn Shop
It’s Closer Than You Think
To find the Pawn Shop, head south from Dan’s Hardware. When you reach Taco Ticklers, turn west. The Pawn Shop is located just past The Piss Hut, across from the Motel Office.
There will be a curfew sign right at the entrance, along with two signs that say “Pawn.” Mick operates the shop from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Pawn Shop Guide: The Dos and Don’ts
The Key is to Know What Mick Wants
When you speak to Mick at the Pawn Shop, you have two choices: sell him an item or see if he wants to buy drugs. You can sell up to five items at once for cash, with the exception of drugs. Mick will appraise your items and you can negotiate the sale price.
Avoid being overly greedy with your counter-offers; asking for an excessive price may frustrate Mick.
If you annoy Mick, you won’t be able to sell to him. The more unreasonable your counter-offer, the quicker his patience will wear thin. However, the Pawn Shop is a great place to offload items you no longer want in Schedule 1.
This process is particularly useful when expanding your business and acquiring new equipment. Remember, he likely won’t accept offers that deviate too much from the original price you paid. To ensure a steady income, consider laundering money in Schedule 1 instead of relying solely on the Pawn Shop for profit.
- Place the items you intend to sell in your hot bar. Ensure your equipment is empty and hold right-click on it.
- Inform Mick that you wish to sell, and then drag the items into one of the gray squares.
- You will see a suggested price range under your items. Click “Start.”
- Mick will make an offer that you can accept or counter.
- Keep an eye on his temper bar to the left. If it rises too much, wait for it to decrease to maintain your ability to sell.
If Mick gets angry, you won’t be able to sell to him temporarily. Be ready to exit the shop quickly if you provoke him, as he will chase you down the street. If you get knocked out in Schedule 1, you’ll need to load your last save.
