In Palworld, there’s a wide variety of Pals to discover, and one of the standout ones is Alpha Chillet. This character, with both Ice and Dragon abilities, offers interesting challenges. Once caught, it becomes a potent Pal that enhances your travel options, making it one of the top Dragon-type Pals in the game.
Alpha Pals are categorized as boss characters that you’ll encounter while exploring Palpagos Island. Each Alpha is marked on your map, including Alpha Chillet. Generally, Alpha Pals are stronger than their regular counterparts. However, Alpha Chillet is among the first Alpha Pals you’re likely to meet, and it won’t pose much of a challenge when you face it.
Finding Alpha Chillet in Palworld
First Alpha Boss Encounter
Chillet is one of the lower-level Alphas in Palworld, starting at level 11, making it an ideal target as you embark on your adventure. It’s located near the initial starting area, known as the Plateau of Beginnings. You’ll always find its location marked on the map, specifically Southwest of the Fort Ruins Great Eagle Statue.
If you haven’t ventured to the Fort Ruins area yet, the closest fast travel point is the Grassy Behemoth Hills. When you arrive, you’ll easily spot Alpha Chillet, as it moves around an open field and has a distinct light blue color.
Tips to Capture Alpha Chillet
Exploiting Weaknesses
In Palworld, Alpha Chillet consistently remains at level 11. If you’re around level 9 or 10, you should find it straightforward to catch this creature. Being an Alpha, Chillet has notable health, but you can counter this by targeting its weaknesses. Using Fire or Ice Pals will inflict bonus damage, making it simpler to wear down Alpha Chillet. You can also use a Mega Sphere since it can capture Pals up to level 14.
As of Early Access version 0.2.4.0, the stats and health of Alpha Pals have been updated. Previously, they did not exceed the stats of standard versions, but now they boast significantly increased HP.
Alpha Chillet at level 11 possesses three abilities: Ice Missile, Dragon Cannon, and Rocket Slam, the latter being unique to Chillet. Take these moves into account during your battle, as they can pose challenges if you’re unprepared. Be cautious not to defeat Chillet too quickly. It’s advisable to unsummon any Pals accompanying you once Chillet’s health drops significantly.
Catching it becomes even more manageable if you’re with friends, but it can still be handled solo. If you don’t succeed in capturing it right away, don’t worry. The Alpha Chillet will respawn every hour, allowing you to try again for experience or breeding purposes in Palworld. You can find an example of the battle in Ultima Kira‘s video.

Once you’ve secured the Alpha Chillet, consider breeding it for more advantages, or use it as a reliable mount. While mounted, your attacks benefit from dragon damage, enhancing your exploration experience.
