GTA Online has just rolled out a Halloween-themed update! By tracking down all ten ghosts hidden around Los Santos, you can earn some eerie rewards. The challenge, dubbed “Ghosts Exposed,” is part of an in-game show that promises rewards for players who can snap photos of these spectral beings. If a weed farm isn’t your thing or you want some extra cash, this event is a fantastic way to boost your earnings.
To kick off this ghost-hunting mission, you’ll need to receive an email from Ghosts Exposed after the update. Once you get that, you can start your search each night from 7 PM to 6 AM. Each ghost appears at a designated time and place, so plan accordingly!
When you’re on the hunt, keep in mind that each ghost has a specific spawn time. If you miss one, you’ll have to wait for its designated hour to try again. Most ghosts are over two minutes apart — which is about the time it takes for an in-game hour — so you won’t need to worry about capturing them all in one go. This task is similar to the Treasure Hunt promo in Red Dead Redemption 2, but generally easier.
Each ghost has two different spawn points in its area, so be vigilant.

Keep in mind that ghost number ten will only show up after you take pictures of the other nine. It appears at midnight, which means even the quickest players will have to devote at least two or three nights to finish the ghost hunting. Once you capture all ten, you’ll receive a nice set of rewards.
In the email you receive, Ghosts Exposed will inform you that they’re offering to pay for your ghostly photographs. Each picture you take will earn you GTA$ 40,000, plus 500 RP. After becoming a ghost-hunting expert by capturing all ten, there’s a bonus of GTA$50,000. In total, this could net you around GTA$450,000, making this a solid method for quick cash.
As a final reward for completing the event, you will receive the Ghosts Exposed Outfit and the Ghosts Exposed Livery for the Albany Brigham, provided you do not already have these from last year’s event. This engaging Halloween update for GTA Online is straightforward and offers fans of the spooky season a fun activity along with an opportunity to earn some quick money.
