Warning: Chapter seven spoilers follow!
How To Defeat Wish Master Chigda
When you engage Wish Master Chigda, prepare for a battle like no other you’ve faced with Nikki and Momo. This giant opponent has multiple attack patterns that you’ll need to keep an eye out for.
Fortunately, you only need to land three hits to take him down, though actually landing those hits can be quite a challenge.
During the first round, steer clear of the swiping vines and target the white flowers that bloom on them. Once you’ve hit each flower, Chigda will become vulnerable. At this point, a surge of energy will rush toward you. Use the Shrinking Outfit to slip through the opening and avoid damage!
After hitting him, retreat quickly. The second round will see vines and thorns erupting from the ground. Dodge the glowing purple circles on the ground before going on the offensive again. Target the flowers one more time, and then use the Shrinking Outfit to bypass Chigda’s defenses.
Attack while Chigda is exposed, then make your escape. It’s time for the final round!
The last phase of the battle is the toughest. Chigda will summon Dark essence from above, while also sending out pulses of Dark energy. Jump and dash to evade these attacks, then focus on attacking the flowers again.
Once more, shrink past his defenses to reach Chigda and deliver the finishing blow. After defeating him, you can collect the Endless Hug sketch from the remains of the fallen Faewish Sprite.
How To Beat The Wish Master Phantom Trial
After successfully defeating Wish Master Chigda in the campaign, you’ll unlock the Phantom Trial in the Realm of Breakthrough. This new weekly challenge allows you to earn Eurekas and Calm Thoughts for evolving your outfits.
While the battle is similar, you can only claim the rewards once a week! Keep track of the time so you don’t miss your chance.
To receive rewards from this weekly boss fight, you’ll need a minimum of 60 Vital Energy. Unlike other trials, you cannot spend extra energy to increase your rewards.
