In Marvel Rivals, you have the ability to customize your crosshair, which allows you to fine-tune how you aim. While some Marvel Rivals characters may not require pinpoint accuracy, having control over your aim can be beneficial no matter who you choose to play as. If you aim to master some of the more skilled characters, such as Hawkeye, who is renowned for his precision, improving your aim is essential.
Customizing your crosshair won’t turn you into a professional player overnight, but it can certainly aid in improving your shot placement and overall aiming accuracy. A well-designed crosshair can offer slight advantages, while a poorly chosen one can hinder performance significantly.
Here’s how to adjust your crosshair in Marvel Rivals, along with some reticule styles you might want to experiment with.
How to Customize Your Marvel Rivals Crosshair
Changing your crosshair in Marvel Rivals is straightforward. Head to the Keyboard tab in your Settings. Under the HUD section, you’ll find all the options to customize your crosshair.
The key decision is selecting the shape for your crosshair. Click on the Reticle Type drop-down menu where you can choose from Circle, Crosshairs, Dot, or a combination of Circle and Crosshairs. It’s a good idea to test each shape to discover which feels right for you.
Beyond just choosing a shape, you can fine-tune your crosshair to match your personal preference. Customization options include width, opacity, outline width, outline opacity, blur, center gap, circle radius, crosshair length, crosshair angle, and color. You can set your reticle to white, red, yellow, green, or blue.
Given the extensive customization available, it’s best to make these adjustments outside of a live match to avoid disrupting your team. Instead, try out changes in the practice range where you can explore settings at your own pace.
How to Import Crosshairs in Marvel Rivals
If you prefer not to create your own crosshair or lack confidence in doing so, Marvel Rivals allows you to import and export crosshairs using shareable codes.
To import a crosshair, navigate to the Keyboard tab within Settings. In the HUD section, find the Reticle Save option. Click the drop-down menu and select ‘add new save’. You’ll then see options to delete, rename, import, or export your own reticles.
To import a crosshair using a code, select Import Save in the Reticle Save section. You’ll need to enter a long code composed of letters and numbers that will replicate someone else’s settings.
Keep in mind that you can assign different crosshairs for different heroes. At the top left of the settings, you’ll see ‘All Heroes’. Click this to select a specific character and adjust the crosshair settings just for them. This allows for tailored reticles based on the needs of each character. For example, a dot reticle works well for snipers like Black Widow or Hawkeye who focus on headshots, while a wider circle might be better for characters like Jeff the Land Shark or Star-Lord that require area coverage.
