Every character has a distinct role in the village, and you’ll frequently assist them in achieving their objectives and uncovering the magic that lies hidden in the Valley. Jasmine holds her own secrets, and as your bond strengthens, you’ll aid her in unlocking the mysteries of her past. Here’s what you need to know to help her along the way!
How to Create a Sea Sand Torch
After stumbling upon a locked journal inside the enchanted flower, Jasmine digs deeper to find out how to unlock it. To start this quest, you’ll need to have both Moana and Maui in your village, and you must also unlock the Glade of Trust.
Once you’ve reached a friendship level of four with Jasmine, she’ll ask you to talk to Moana about crafting a special sea sand torch to collect sea sand sparks. Moana is eager to assist, but she’ll need you to gather the following materials:
- Softwood (5)
- Fiber (5)
- Sand (3)
- Aquamarine (1)
With these items in hand, bring them to Moana in exchange for the sea sand torch. Next, place the torch on Dazzle Beach and check in with Jasmine. Together, head to the torch to collect the sea sand sparks.
How to Build a Sand Castle
Your next task is to obtain the Special Starfish from Maui. Propose a trade with him, and he’ll be glad to give it to you—if you can win a challenge of your choice. Return to Jasmine to discuss your strategy, and watch as she dares the demigod to a sandcastle-building contest.
If you concentrate on building the other parts, Jasmine will handle the centerpiece. Gather the following materials at a crafting station to create the sand towers, walls, and door:
- Sand (50)
- Clay (14)
- Seaweed (7)
Using these supplies, you can craft a Sandcastle Kit, which includes four sand towers, three sand walls, and one sand door. Once crafted, collect the centerpiece from Jasmine.
While the sandcastle components fit together seamlessly, they don’t have to be connected to be counted. Additionally, feel free to create extra pieces if you wish to design a more intricate castle.
Adorn Dazzle Beach with the newly crafted sandcastle pieces, then approach Maui to begin the judging process. Observe as he and Jasmine assess the sandcastle, and afterward talk to Jasmine to receive the Special Starfish.
How to Create the Beach Key
With the Sea Sand Sparks and Special Starfish in your inventory, hurry to a crafting station to finally make the Beach Key. This key allows you to return to Jasmine and Aladdin’s home and unlock one of the two locks on the secret journal.
After removing the first lock, talk with Jasmine to complete this part of the quest. While there’s still more to uncover about the secret journal, you’ll need to strengthen your relationship with Jasmine further before proceeding.
