How to Bring Mason Out

After helping Baker regain his memory, Iris uses the lift at the Burnt Tree to go underground. Once you arrive, head right and speak with Baker. This will allow you to take the ‘Mason’ lead, though Baker will vanish. Continue right until you reach the circular platform where the Screen is located.

On this platform’s right side, there’s a terminal. Walk over to it, open your lead screen, choose the ‘Mason’ lead, and then tap the terminal. A cylindrical device will activate, revealing a nearly zombie-like Mason. Look for the stick-like device to Mason’s left and ‘Use’ it.

This opens the lead screen—first select ‘Mason’, then choose ‘Phoenix Springs.’ You’ll gain three new leads:

How to Bring the Architect Out

Close the lead screen and approach the terminal again. This time, select the ‘Architect’ lead from your lead screen and tap the terminal. The cylindrical device will activate once more, bringing the Architect into the room. Use the headband again. The lead screen will appear, and this time select ‘Worksite’ first, followed by ‘Mason.’

This action will provide you with the ‘Accident’ lead, although the cylindrical device will remove the Architect from the room.

How to Uncover Mason’s Story

Once more, approach the terminal and select ‘Mason’ from your lead screen, then tap the terminal. When the device brings Mason back, ‘Use the headband again. You need to select the leads in this order:

  • Mason
  • Phoenix Springs
  • Architect
  • Accident
  • Rebirth
  • Reporter
  • Leo Dormer

To finish, enter the water in the center of the room. Select the water and ‘Use’ it. Finally, the lead screen opens one last time, with the only available lead being ‘Leo Dormer.’ Select it, then tap on Iris’s head.

After viewing the cutscene, Iris will find herself in a new room. exit through the door on the right to arrive at the island. Select Baker and use the ‘Talk To’ command one last time; after this conversation, the game concludes.
