Last year, Pokémon Go held a special event in honor of the new anime series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series. Now, with the second season of the series on the way, the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event is back, bringing with it an array of thrilling new features and Pokémon debuts.
The 2025 Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event will run for nearly a full week, starting on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10 AM local time, and ending on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 8 PM local time. This event will significantly impact many facets of Pokémon Go, so read on for all the details.
How to Obtain Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton in Pokémon Go
The Tinkatink evolutionary line will make its debut during this event, featuring Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton. After catching Tinkatink, you can evolve it into Tinkatuff with 25 Tinkatink Candy and further evolve Tinkatuff into Tinkaton with an additional 100 Tinkatink Candy.
During the event, Tinkatink can be obtained from 7 km Eggs or as a reward from special Research tasks. After the event concludes, players will be able to hatch Tinkatink from 10 km Eggs.
Pokémon Go Debut: Costumed Floragato
Another highlight of this event is the introduction of a new costumed version of Floragato. This special Floragato will be wearing a hat adorned with Liko’s pin, a character from Pokémon Horizons: The Series. You can find this unique Pokémon both in the wild and in Three-Star Raids.
Event Bonuses
Several exciting bonuses will be active throughout this event, enhancing different aspects of gameplay, including:
- Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will require only half the usual Hatch Distance.
- Encounter Team Go Rocket balloons more frequently.
- Taking Snapshots might lead to a surprise Pokémon encounter.
Moreover, Floragato in its special hat and Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat will have an increased chance of being Shiny during the event.
Event 7 km Eggs
7 km Eggs collected during the event will hatch into a different selection of Pokémon than normal, featuring event-themed Pokémon. Be sure to hatch as many of these Eggs as you can to chance upon:

- Charcadet

To obtain 7 km Eggs, you should focus on opening Gifts from fellow trainers.
Event Wild Encounter Pokémon
