Featured Pokémon: Tyrogue
As previously mentioned, Tyrogue will be the highlighted Pokémon for this Hatch Day. This indicates that players will have a greater chance of hatching Tyrogue from 2 km Eggs during the three-hour event.
Increased Shiny Odds
During this event, you’ll also notice an enhanced probability of hatching a Shiny Tyrogue. Make sure to collect and incubate as many 2 km Eggs as possible to boost your chances of hatching a Shiny Tyrogue.
Event Bonuses
There will be three exciting bonuses available for all players during the event, and they come at no additional cost:
- Double Candy when hatching Eggs.
- Higher chances of receiving 2 km Eggs from PokeStops.
- Half the hatch distance for Eggs placed in Incubators.
Event Research
Free Timed Research
When you log into Pokemon Go during the Tyrogue Hatch Day, you’ll unlock Free Timed Research. This research will involve completing various in-game tasks, primarily centered on obtaining and hatching Eggs. Make sure to finish all tasks and collect your rewards before the event concludes.

Paid Timed Research

Furthermore, players who opt for this Paid Research will receive double Stardust when hatching Eggs throughout the event.
Field Research Tasks
Additionally, there will be special Event Field Research Tasks that can be obtained by spinning Photo Discs at different PokeStops during Tyrogue Hatch Day. Completing these limited-time tasks can grant you rewards such as Stardust or XP.
