How to Start the Message In A Bottle Quest
To kick off the Message In A Bottle quest, make your way to the Moosewood area, which is a starter zone in the First Sea. Look for a small bottle with a message located near the pier at these coordinates: X: 480, Y: 135, Z: 235.
Approach the bottle and press the necessary button to interact with it. After doing so, you’ll receive your next task: travel to Roslit Bay and locate a White Crate hidden on the island.
Where to Find a White Crate
Your next stop is Roslit Bay. To find a White Crate, you’ll need to identify the Shipwright NPC at the pier and engage with him to spawn a boat. Then, head north from the Moosewood area until you arrive at Roslit Bay.
Upon reaching the pier in Roslit Bay, search for a lava rift and follow its path until you reach a small pond on the opposite side of the island. Continue onwards, passing the pond until you find an open area with a White Crate situated in the center.
The exact coordinates of the White Crate are: X: -1879, Y: 166, Z: 589.
Approach the crate and interact with it. Doing so will automatically conclude the Message In A Bottle quest and grant you the following rewards:

- 15 Kraken Tentacles
