As you explore the underground cavern in Core Keeper, you’ll come across remnants of past civilizations, including abandoned camps, homes, fishing huts, and even grand, advanced cities. It’s unclear what led to their downfall, but the large enemies you encounter might hold the key to that mystery.
These foes may be aggressive now, but there’s a chance they were once peaceful or perhaps even feared by the inhabitants of The Core. Regardless, a temple dedicated to three of these beings holds intricately designed chests that require specific items to open.
What Is The Titan Temple?
The Titan Temple is a distinctive site found in the Desert of Beginnings, housing all three components of the Godsent Armor Set. Each world contains only one Titan Temple, positioned roughly 650 tiles away from The Core.
This small structure has three rooms filled with various Temple furnishings and three uniquely locked chests that require Titan-themed treasures to unlock: the Azeos Feather Fan, Ra-Akar Automaton, and Omoroth Compass.
The three Royal Graves are typically situated near the Titan Temple, sharing a similar distance from The Core.
In a fashion similar to how you gather the parts for the Admin Key, the three Titan items required for the Titan Temple can be found inside Royal Graves located within special dungeons in the Desert of Beginnings. Each grave corresponds to a particular mid-game boss.
How To Find The Maze Dungeons
On the map, the Maze Dungeons that contain the Royal Graves will appear as dark green-gray squares, and you will find only three of them.
Once you locate one, you can triangulate the positions of the other two. You don’t need to worry about discovering dungeons that lack the graves:
- The Prince Grave, which holds the Ra-Akar Automaton and is located around 500 tiles away from The Core.
- The Queen Grave, which contains the Azeos Feather Fan and can be found approximately 600 tiles away from The Core.
- The King Grave, which has the Omoroth Compass and is positioned about 750 tiles from The Core.
The Maze Dungeons consist of narrow corridors filled with dead ends, with the main dangers stemming from Spike Floors and Stone Dart Totems, both capable of inflicting significant damage, even through Galaxite Armor, along with poisoning effects if you’re hit.
Bring along at least some Wooden Bridges, as you’ll encounter open water tiles while navigating through the mazes.
Aside from the traps and the graves at the center, the only other items present in the dungeons are Locked Galaxite Chests, Golden Ancient Chests, and small three-by-three-tile rooms with four Temple breakables.
How To Get To The Royal Graves
The layout of each Maze Dungeon is unique, so there isn’t a standard map to follow. Start by mapping the dungeon’s edges to get a sense of its shape and the direction you need to take.
If you have room in your inventory, collect any traps you find, as they can be used for automated farming back at your base or sold for Ancient Coins.
Choose one of the several entrances to enter and head toward the center of the dungeon, using bridges to cross any water tiles while utilizing a Scarlet Pickaxe or better to dismantle the traps you encounter to prevent them from causing issues later.
The Royal Grave will always glow amidst the darkness, guiding you toward the center. Once spotted, you can head straight towards it since there’s likely a pathway leading nearby.
Exploring the Maze Dungeons, even partially, is worthwhile for the chance to discover Locked Galaxite chests, which may contain the Paladin Armor Set, Galaxite Sledgehammer, or Bomb Scarab Mortar.
Use your pickaxe to break through the outer walls of the grave, dismantle the Stone Dart Traps in the corners, and close in on the grave.
Inside, you’ll discover the Titan item along with two other treasures that you can choose to keep or leave, then simply return to the entrance you came through to exit.
How To Obtain The Godsent Armor Set
After gathering all three Titan items, either search for the Titan Temple in the Desert of Beginnings about 650 tiles from The Core or return to it if you’ve already located it and go inside.
Once you’ve unlocked the Titan Chests, you can dismantle them like other chests with a pickaxe and use them as storage at your base.
No enemies will spawn in this area, allowing you to freely enter each room and unlock the chests:
- The left room contains the Desert Queen Chest, which requires the Azeos Feather Fan and guarantees the Godsent King Breastplate, Azeos’ Dash Feather off-hand, Septum Ring, an Ancient Golden Coin, and ten Ancient Gemstones.
- The middle room holds the Desert King Chest, which necessitates the Omoroth Compass, and it always contains the Godsent King Mask, Noble Ring, Golden Jellyfish, an Ancient Golden Coin, and ten Ancient Gemstones.
- The right room hosts the Desert Prince Chest, which needs the Ra-Akar Automaton, ensuring it contains the Godsent King Pants Armor, Polished Gold Crystal Necklace, Concealed Blade, an Ancient Golden Coin, and ten Ancient Gemstones.
Apart from the Royal Chests, you can also collect various valuables from the pedestals in each room and uncover four hidden rooms on the left and right sides of the Temple by breaking through the Desert Blocks near the central water pool. Each hidden room holds some Temple-themed furniture items and both small and large Temple Breakables.
How To Access the Hidden Room in the Titan Temple
A fifth hidden room resides at the back of the Titan Temple, but it’s encased by indestructible blocks on all sides, save for a tunnel.
To access it, you need a Galaxite Pickaxe or a stronger tool to break through the Temple Block located three tiles away from the narrow room between Azeos’ and Omoroth’s rooms.
This unlocks a one-tile-wide tunnel leads to a Stone Dart Trap, along with several Desert Blocks you can break through. Continue digging to reveal another corridor with a Stone Dart Trap, followed by more blocks needing removal.
This tunnel will lead you to the final hidden room, which contains numerous Temple breakables, as well as three Golden Pedestals that hold items such as Astral Jelly, Starlight Shards, and one Galaxite Bar.
