Go there and speak to Eito, who will introduce you to the Gift-o-Matic.
You may have already seen the various materials displayed at the bottom of your pause screen. These materials, which you collect while exploring outside the Academy, are also used to upgrade your team’s Class Weapons. Just remember to conserve some of these materials for crafting gifts, as the Gift-o-Matic requires you to create each gift you want to give.
Making gifts involves using both resources and Battle Points in the machine. You can browse the list of available items and get a quick overview of each recipe before crafting. Your friends will have different reactions to your gifts: they can either love, like, or dislike what you give them. You’ll earn grade points based on their feelings about the gift. Here’s how it breaks down:
- Loved gifts hit the mark perfectly, granting you 30 grade points in the subject your classmate contributes to, along with a sweet scene of appreciation.
- Liked gifts yield a modest ten grade points.
- Disliked gifts waste both Free Time and materials, granting you no grade points, and while it doesn’t impact your long-term progress, it may leave your friend feeling a bit hurt.
Given that there are multiple ways to study and resources are often limited, try to discover your classmates’ interests before giving gifts to avoid wasting time and materials on gifts that won’t be appreciated. While the reactions can be funny, wasting resources is not ideal! Generally, it’s wise to wait until you can give a gift that your friend will truly love, unless you need to boost your grades quickly.
