In Infinity Nikki, you can unlock new colors for your favorite outfits by evolving them. Dyeing adds a personal touch, allowing you to choose any color for a specific item. The great news is that you don’t need the whole outfit for a recolor; you can simply dye individual pieces.
You can also gain more color options using a currency called Prisms. With five-star outfits, you can use the color wheel to enhance your looks further. Sharing your creative designs with other players is a fantastic additional feature.
How to Dye Clothes
Start dyeing your clothes by selecting the DIY Workshop icon from the main menu. You will see all the clothing eligible for dyeing in the menu. You don’t need a complete outfit to dye; individual pieces can be colored as well. Items rated three-star, four-star, and five-star are available for this feature.
You can also access the DIY Workshop through your Wardrobe by clicking the paint icon. This option unlocks after completing the new tutorial quest included in version 1.5, which begins when you enter Miraland after the update.
Select the piece you wish to dye, and a variety of color palettes will appear on your screen, showing the areas you can color.
Choose any area and apply your desired color. You can also select multiple areas to dye them the same color. Creating contrasting shades can make less visible patterns pop.
If you have fully evolved a five-star outfit, you can change the color of any special effects to match your newly dyed pieces.
How to Use the Color Wheel
If you’ve fully evolved a five-star outfit and unlocked all palettes, you can freely change the color of any area with the color wheel. This tool allows you to add depth to your outfit, emphasizing unique shades.
The color wheel is not available for three-star and four-star outfits.
How to Unlock More Color Palettes
You will start with a few basic colors for each item. To unlock additional colors, you will need to expand your palettes. Fully evolving any three-star piece will also grant you an extra palette.
Unlocking all pieces of an outfit and evolving set pieces for four-star and five-star outfits will provide additional palettes.
Palettes can be unlocked using special materials called Prisms. Five-star pieces require Radiant Prisms, four-star pieces need Luminous Prisms, and three-star pieces cost Rainbow Prisms.
Prisms can be acquired from the Resonance Shop, Quest Rewards, Event Rewards, and Treasure Chests.
How to Share Your Designs
After finalizing your designs, you can share them with friends or the wider community through the Color Lookbook. To do this, just press the share button in the wardrobe. You can also inherit someone else’s design using their share code or a QR code image.
To contribute to the Color Lookbook, select the option to upload your design. Other users can then access your color schemes. Note that you cannot use designs for items you don’t own.
To use the Color Lookbook, you must first activate it in the Sea of Stars. Look for its icon in the southeast corner of the map; just interact with it once to unlock it.
