Runescape: Dragonwilds offers a plethora of weapons and equipment that you can craft to boost your combat abilities, allowing you to face tougher enemies. However, keep an eye on your gear’s durability since every weapon and piece of armor deteriorates over time. If you neglect to repair them, they will eventually become ineffective.
Utilizing the Artisan skill unlocks various upgrades within its skill tree. Some of these upgrades improve your equipment’s performance, while others help increase your crafting efficiency.
Runescape: Dragonwilds is currently in Early Access, and the game is likely to undergo changes in future updates. We will adjust our guide accordingly if any updates impact the content.
Best Way to Level Artisan Skill
Gaining experience in the Artisan skill happens each time you create a new weapon, piece of armor, or tool. If you’ve been spending time at the crafting bench or the smithy, you’ve likely made significant progress in this skill tree. Moreover, leveling up your Artisan skill reduces the durability loss of your gear by one percent for each level you gain.
You can easily identify which crafting stations will provide Artisan experience by looking for the Artisan Icon beneath the station’s name. For instance, when using the crafting bench, the Artisan icon will appear at the center of your screen just below the crafting bench title.
Tip: Remember that repeatedly creating specific tools, like the Whetstone, won’t earn you any Artisan experience. However, you can quickly gain levels in the Artisan skill by producing a high volume of clay vessels using a pottery wheel.
Artisan Skill Unlocks
The Artisan skill tree has a limited number of upgrades, but the available options are unique and quite helpful for ensuring your survival in Ashenfall.
Level | Skill | Description |
---|---|---|
11 | Bark To Bones | This spell requires 10 Nature Runes and 10 Earth Runes to transform a tree into animal bones, which can be a valuable resource in the early game. |
20 | Super Heat | This spell uses 15 Fire Runes and 5 Air Runes to significantly hasten the production speed of heat-powered structures like the kiln and furnace. It has a short cooldown of ten seconds, allowing for frequent casting. |
27 | Magical Mending | You can throw down your weapons, armor, and tools, then use this spell with 10 Nature Runes and 20 Earth Runes to repair everything and automatically return the items to your inventory. This upgrade alleviates concerns over durability loss, as long as you have the required runes. |
40 | Decorated Adventurer | This upgrade unlocks the Armor Mannequin in the furniture section of the crafting menu, allowing you to display any armor you wish for decorative purposes. |
The Artisan skills not only enhance your crafting abilities but also improve your overall gameplay experience, enabling you to thrive in the ever-challenging world of Runescape: Dragonwilds.
