Schedule 1 offers a wide range of equipment for manufacturing your products and distributing them throughout Hyland. Although some machines may seem complicated at first, once you understand their functions and operations, you will quickly maximize their potential.
One essential piece of equipment is the cauldron, which is utilized to transform coca leaves into base cocaine. Once you have one set up on your property, you can efficiently produce large quantities of products.
How to Obtain the Cauldron
The cauldron can be acquired from the warehouse next to the pawnshop after reaching the first Enforcer rank. Make sure to visit the warehouse after 6 PM to enter and buy the cauldron from Oscar.
A cauldron costs $3,000 in cash, so ensure you have sufficient funds if you intend to buy multiple units. After purchasing, you can place it in any of your properties to start production.
How to Operate the Cauldron
Once you’ve reached Enforcer rank 1, you’ll gain access to the Docks area, where you can meet Salvador Moreno, the local supplier of coca seeds. You’ll need to plant these seeds first. After the plants mature and you harvest the coca leaves, you can throw them in the cauldron to create base cocaine.
Additionally, you will require gasoline to operate the cauldron. Fortunately, you can obtain it from the warehouse or have it delivered using the Deliveries app on your phone from Oscar’s underground shop. Gasoline can also be found at any Gas Mart.
The cauldron has various slots for coca leaves and a separate one for gasoline. You can load up to 80 coca leaves at a time and store 20 cans of gasoline. However, keep in mind that only one can of gasoline is needed to process 20 coca leaves at once, so you’ll need to wait for the timer to finish before starting another batch.
Filling all available slots with coca leaves and cans of gasoline is handy if you have a chemist assigned to the cauldron. This way, they can keep cooking until the resources are depleted.
After setting everything up, the timer will kick in, and you’ll just need to wait for the cooking process to complete. This will yield base cocaine, which you can further refine inside a lab oven to create cocaine.
