The 5.2 update for Genshin Impact has dropped, bringing along exciting new world quests, including one called “Every Aspect of a Warrior.” This particular quest is a secret mission located in the Natlan region and can only be accessed after fulfilling certain conditions. The Natlan region emphasizes coexistence with the local wildlife, and this quest continues that theme.
World Quests in Genshin Impact provide players with deeper insights into the areas they explore. They typically involve finding ancient ruins, solving puzzles, and uncovering treasures. In this instance, players will discover more about Acomitl, Manyoya, and Matagha. Before starting this quest, several prerequisite tasks must be completed, concluding with a flying challenge.
How to Unlock the Every Aspect of a Warrior Quest
Complete the Required World Quests
To embark on “Every Aspect of a Warrior,” you first need to finish three other world quests within the Natlan region, each linked to the children of Xueyoni. Here’s a list of quests you need to tackle:
Quest |
NPC |
Location |
---|---|---|
“Molting Season“ |
Acomitl |
SE of the Flower-Feather Clan |
“A Saurian Returns to the Nest“ |
Manyoya |
SW of the Masters of the Night-Wind Tribe |
“Charge Forward! Go, Go, Go!“ |
Matahga |
SW of the Tezcatepetonco Range Statue of The Seven |
It’s recommended to complete “A Saurian Returns to the Nest” last, as it is closest to the starting point of the “Every Aspect of a Warrior” quest.
Each of these quests is a Warrior Challenge, offering extra rewards along the way as you work toward unlocking the hidden quest. They are straightforward and involve some dialogue and puzzles before each flying challenge, which is where you earn your rewards. Once you’ve completed all three world quests, you’ll be ready to proceed with the “Every Aspect of a Warrior” quest.
How to Start the Every Aspect of a Warrior Quest
Locate the Three Siblings
After finishing all three prerequisite quests, head to the Flower-Feather Clan camp, and then go southeast to a small wooden platform at the edge of a cliff. If you completed Manyoya’s quest last, you should be in the vicinity, making it easier to find. Once you arrive, talk to each sibling about their concerns.
Eventually, their father will appear and share insights about what makes a warrior exceptional in Natlan. After discussing Acomitl, he’ll invite you to fly with his children, who are some of the best fliers in the region. Accepting his invitation will start another Warrior Challenge, but this one is longer.

Finish the Flying Challenge
To kick off the air race, connect with the Qucusaurus and follow the rest of the flock to chase after the balloon. Once you reach the balloon, a cutscene will trigger where Matahga and Acomitl converse, then you’ll need to propel yourself toward the next balloon to keep the race going. Be sure to utilize the Phlogiston Wind Tunnels to stay airborne as you fly.
To more easily catch up to the balloons, try cutting corners wherever possible. When you see the balloon starting to turn, position yourself at an angle to intercept it efficiently.
After completing the air race, you’ll return to the wooden platform where you started the quest. The siblings will discuss the experience, with Matahga and Manyoya reassuring Acomitl that his unique path does not diminish his prowess as a warrior. Once their conversation wraps up, Xueyoni will express gratitude for reuniting his children and extends an offer for you to train with him and his warriors whenever you wish.
Unfortunately, this air race does not count as a Warrior Challenge, meaning you won’t earn any Obsidian Shards for it.
The discussion will conclude, and you’ll receive 30 Primogems, 200 Adventure EXP, and 35,000 Mora for your efforts. All in all, the “Every Aspect of a Warrior” quest is quite manageable once unlocked, and it provides an engaging glimpse into the rich culture of Natlan’s tribes. Exploring the various regions in Genshin Impact and undertaking quests like this is one of the best ways for players to uncover their secrets.
