Atomfall can be quite tricky, especially if you opt for the recommended difficulty level or higher. However, like many solid RPGs, it gives players various options to ease the challenge. One such option is engaging with traders who offer a range of consumables, crafting recipes, weapons, ammunition, and other gear. While some items can be pricey, they can prove to be worthwhile investments.
Across the game’s four regions, you’ll encounter several traders, each offering unique merchandise. Additionally, every trader has specific preferences; for instance, some may undervalue bandages while others might highly appreciate Burn Salves. Although the absence of fast travel makes frequent visits to traders less time-efficient, keeping their preferences in mind can still be beneficial.

- Molly Jowett is located at coordinates 26.4E 79.1N and offers the crucial Stealth Manual and an Atomic Battery for sale. She’s not fond of bandages, so it’s best to sell her different items.
- Reg Stansfield is inside the Slate Mine Caves at 29.9E 73.8N. Notably, he sells the Makeshift Grenade Recipe along with Burn Salves, Gunpowder, and a Hatchet, though he doesn’t pay much for Burn Salves.
All Wyndham Village Trader Locations & Inventories
A Little Bit of Everything, But Nothing Major
- Morris Wick is a sly trader found in the Village Shop (a.k.a. the Hardware Store) at 33.3E 79.8N. While he doesn’t have anything critical, his inventory includes an assorted range of items such as weapons, bandages, first aid kits, and grenades.
- Alf Buckshaw is located at Grendel’s Head pub (34.2E 79.3N). He sells tea for a speed boost and alcohol for crafting, along with tomatoes and potatoes. While not essential, grabbing some food isn’t a bad idea.
- Iris Baxter can be found at The Bakery (33.4E 80.2N). Although her offerings aren’t crucial, she has a good stock of food items like bread, Cornish pasties, and slices of cake.

- Billy Gorse is at 21.5E 89.6N and has the Consumables Manual, an Atomic Battery, and Poison Bombs for sale, although those aren’t necessities. He likes Burn Salves, so crafting some can be beneficial.
- Mother Jago resides at The Old Mine (27.2E 92.2N), where she offers an important crafting recipe for Antidote, perfect for use in Casterfell Woods.

- Corporal “Bootsy” Hughes can be found at the Trader Camp (36.3E 76.2N). Head up the ladder to discover him by the fireplace. He sells the Combat Stim recipe, the Firearms Mastery Manual, and various useful items like First Aid Kits, Grenades, Heavy Survival Knives, Hi-Power 9mm Stocks, Pistol Ammo, SMG Ammo, and Sticky Bombs. Note that he doesn’t value arrows highly. Additionally, you can explore to mark the “A Special Protocol Garrison?” on your map.
- Nora Thorndike is located at Nora’s Barn (41.8E 77.5N). Be wary of the traps in the area, then enter the barn (face southeast to find the door). She sells the Atomic Battery, Nail Bomb Recipe, Med Kits, Nail Bombs, SMG Ammo, and Sticky Bombs.
These are the nine known traders and their inventories in Atomfall. Within this group, you should find everything you need. Keep in mind that trader stocks may slightly vary with each visit to different regions, but generally, they will have similar types of goods.
