In Spider-Man 2, you’ll find various Photo Op locations scattered throughout New York City. These spots offer chances for you to snap photos for Robbie Robertson at the Daily Bugle. Early in the game, a mission will prompt you to capture a photo of a rooftop frisbee game—one of the many Easter eggs hidden throughout the game—but the remaining opportunities are optional collectibles. If you’re having trouble locating them all, don’t worry! Here’s a guide to all the Spider-Man 2 Photo Ops and where to find them!

How to Collect Photo Ops in Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2 Collectibles
To collect Photo Ops, a green camera icon will pop up on your map when you’re near a location. If you click the right stick to scan the area, a floating icon will appear in the game world to help you find the spot.
Once you get in the right area, swipe up on the touchpad to open the camera and hold L2 to aim. Look around until one of these three notifications pops up:
- Subject Obscured
- This means you’re looking at the right target, but something is blocking your view. Adjust your position.
- Subject Not in Focus
- You’re close, but not quite targeting the right object. Make a slight adjustment.
- Subject in Focus
- You’re ready to go! Press R1 to capture the Photo Op.
Most Photo Ops are straightforward, but a few are well hidden. Let’s take a look at those:
Hidden Oasis in Williamsburg
To capture the #20 Hidden Oasis in Williamsburg, head up to the rooftops and take a photo looking down into the water tank that’s been transformed into a bar.
Now That’s a Bridge in Downtown Brooklyn
The other tricky Photo Op is #21 Now That’s a Bridge in Downtown Brooklyn. The camera icon shows you where to stand, rather than the target you need to photograph, and it features a broad view to scan. Position yourself behind the group of tourists and aim your camera up at the Brooklyn Bridge for the perfect shot.
