Purchasing Reboot Cards in Fortnite could drastically change the gameplay dynamic in team modes like Duos and Squads. With this new feature, players will no longer need to risk venturing into dangerous areas to recover a fallen teammate’s card. Typically, when a team member is eliminated, the opponents often linger nearby to take out anyone attempting to retrieve the Reboot Card, creating a significant risk for the rest of the team. As per a post from Fortnite leaker Loolo, players will soon have the option to buy Reboot Cards. This announcement included a video showing a player interacting with a Reboot Van. In addition to the usual feature of spending Reboot Cards to revive squad members, there will be a new option to ‘buy dropped Reboot Cards’ using Gold Bars, allowing players to bring back a teammate right away.
