To enhance your adventure in Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s a good idea to regularly check for special event quests. These quests offer valuable materials and unique cosmetic items, making them worth participating in at least once. While the initial events may not have thrilled everyone, the excitement is set to ramp up with the recent expansion of the game through the first official title update.
In addition to valuable event quests, Wilds has reintroduced arena quests from past titles, which adds to the replayability and provides exciting time-sensitive rewards. Although arena quests might not appeal to everyone, teaming up with a friend can make these quests more manageable. The initial previews of Monster Hunter Wilds gave a sneak peek at upcoming event quests, and Capcom recently revealed a complete list of quests scheduled for the upcoming month.
All Event Quests Available in Wilds This April
An Exciting Lineup of Quests
The first few weeks of April 2025 may lack extensive content, but several quests are designed to assist newcomers. All quests are accessible directly from Alma’s menu. After the month-long quest for the charming Amstrigian headgear, two additional quests will be available on April 8 and April 15, yielding Artian weapon materials and Armor Spheres, respectively.
The event quest dates have been adjusted to UTC-7, which may vary based on your location.
The schedule for event quests refreshes promptly at 5:00 PM UTC-7 every Tuesday, so it’s crucial to finish your quests the night before to secure those rewards. Fortunately, the timing is quite accommodating, as the Blossomdance Festival provides a chance to catch up on any missed quests, with all previous events being made available simultaneously.

Kick-off of Seasonal Festivals in Wilds
When you enter the Gathering Hub after the April 22nd update, the vibrant cherry blossom décor will catch your eye immediately. As the inaugural seasonal festival in Wilds, all previously available event quests will be open for a two-week period from April 22 to May 6. Once the festival concludes, the Gathering Hub will revert to its usual layout, and completed quests will no longer be available, although all rewards earned will remain in your inventory.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ Best Additions Aren’t Coming In Its First Title Update
Monster Hunter Wilds has already announced plenty of content, but a short letter from the game’s director hides some of its most exciting changes yet.
With the Gathering Hub transformed for the event, you’ll want to invest in some new outfits, which can be easily crafted after completing certain event quests. As highlighted in the promotional video, the new butterfly armor set, along with a matching Palico outfit, can be obtained by completing the Daughters of Carabosse quest, where you’ll hunt two Lala Barina.
These seasonal events will likely only be held once a year.
The showcase also mentioned several gestures, decorative items, and equipment will be made available, although the method for unlocking them remains uncertain. Given that these seasonal events may occur just once yearly, be sure not to miss out on any limited-time rewards beyond the standard event quests.

Identifying the Best Quests to Farm Saves Time
Unfortunately, many of the early event quests in Wilds that offer farming materials may not be the most efficient way to gather resources, often falling short compared to standard investigations. The main advantage of these early-game events is to provide players without access to investigations a reliable method for material farming.
They offer a consistent way to farm if you haven’t been fortunate with your monster encounters.
Among the standard material farming quests, Chemicus Nocturnus for rare minerals like Firestone and Gravios Blockade for cooking components may be the most effective choices. Although these event quests might not be the quickest way to gather materials, they allow you to earn resources while hunting and accumulating additional monster parts. Sadly, the Stalking Supper quest is no longer available for farming Kunafa Cheese, and it will not be part of the upcoming festival this month, despite its inclusion in the recent March event schedule.

After Monster Hunter Wilds’ New Showcase, I’m Finally Sold On Its Cosmetic DLC
Monster Hunter Wilds had a confusing cosmetic sales model, but the showcase finally provided insight into what future DLC has planned for the game.
With Monster Hunter Wilds incorporating a layered armor system right from the start, outfitting your character has become even more essential in the game’s post-story content, giving new meaning to repetitive hunts. Luckily, numerous event quests allow players to permanently acquire new armor sets that can be worn individually or layered over existing outfits. Currently, you’ll find four distinct headpieces available: two animal-themed, a jewelry piece, and an eyepatch, as well as a complete butterfly armor set for your character.
It often requires about 2–3 runs to gather the materials needed for one piece of event-related armor.
Unlike regular event quests, there’s no need to continue farming once you have the materials for armor crafting quests, but preparing each set will likely take more than one attempt. On average, it often takes about 2–3 attempts to collect all the materials required for creating an armor piece tied to an event, which can be expedited using the lucky meals available at the Kunafa Gathering Hub. To track your progress on crafting gear from event quests in Monster Hunter Wilds, simply check the armor tab at Genma and look for the new exclamation mark indicating how many more materials you need.
