Helldivers 2 has launched a crossover with Killzone, featuring new gear available in the in-game Superstore. Players can purchase a themed armor set, weapon, and various cosmetics using Super Credits. These items draw inspiration from the notorious Helghast faction found in the Killzone series, showcasing their distinct helmets and weapon designs. This is just the first phase of the crossover, so while more items are on the way, here’s what you need to know about the collaboration so far.
All Helldivers 2 Killzone Items and How to Acquire Them
The collaboration offers six unique items, including a new armor set, firearm, and several cosmetics. Keep in mind that these special items will only be available until **December 23, 2024**. After that date, the superstore will refresh as usual in Helldivers 2, bringing in more related items. Here’s what’s currently available in the Killzone crossover part one, which you can snag with your Super Credits:
- StA-52 Assault Rifle = 615 Super Credits
- A high-capacity, fast-firing assault rifle favored by Helghast soldiers in Killzone.
- AC-1 Dutiful Helmet = 310 Super Credits
- A helmet that resembles the standard gear of Helghast assault troops.
- AC-1 Dutiful Armor = 500 Super Credits
- This armor possesses the Acclimated passive, providing 50% resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electricity damage.
- Strength In Our Arms Cape = 310 Super Credits
- Strength in Our Arms Player Card = 90 Super Credits
- Assault Infantry Title = 150 Super Credits
Alongside the second drop of Killzone-themed items coming later, developer Arrowhead Studios has hinted at an additional reward for players based on their performance in the Galactic War. Details on this are still vague, so if you’re aiming for extra rewards, it’s a good idea to focus on completing Major Orders!
Are the Helldivers 2 Killzone Items Worth It?
Unless you’re a devoted Killzone enthusiast or sitting on a heap of Super Credits, you might want to pass on these items. They come with a premium price tag, and buying the complete set would cost nearly 1975 Super Credits—almost the same as two entire Warbonds, and that doesn’t include the 300 SC you could earn back from a warbond.
While the AC-1 Dutiful armor does feature the useful Acclimated passive, which is a solid perk for general use, the StA-52 rifle is quite similar to the standard Liberator, or its carbine counterpart available in the Viper Commandos Warbond. So, skipping it wouldn’t mean missing out on a must-have weapon. In fact, the other items are purely cosmetic and have no effect on gameplay.
