With the recent updates — Sakurajima and Feybreak — Palworld has expanded significantly, introducing more Pals and features to engage players. One of the notable additions is the Sphere Modules, which are tools designed to simplify the process of capturing Pals.
On the lively Feybreak Island, where powerful Pals roam freely, these Sphere Modules can give you an advantage. From enhancing capture rates to enabling curve throws and homing features for Pal Spheres, this guide will cover everything you need to know about creating and using Sphere Modules.
What Are Sphere Modules?
Sphere Modules were introduced with the Feybreak update for Palworld and can be seen as upgrades for your Pal Spheres. These useful devices alter the performance of your spheres, providing assistance when trying to capture wild Pals throughout Palpagos.
Each Sphere Module enhances a sphere’s capturing ability to varying degrees, and each has its own special features. Some modules allow you to throw spheres further, others create curved throws to catch Pals by surprise, and a few are designed to home in on targets automatically, making your aim easier.
How To Craft Every Sphere Module
Currently, you can find six Sphere Modules. To acquire them, you’ll need to unlock their individual recipes by reaching specific Technology Levels and using Technology Points. Once you’ve learned a recipe, you can create these modules at a Sphere Workbench or any Sphere Assembly Line.
Here’s a detailed overview of each Sphere Module, including their effects and what you’ll need to produce them.

How To Get Resources For Sphere Modules
To create Sphere Modules, it’s essential to know exactly where to find the necessary materials for each one.
Resource |
How To Get |
---|---|
Paldium Fragment |
Collect Paldium Fragments by mining blue Paldium Nodes, which are scattered across the map. While any tool works, a pickaxe will speed up the process. |
Ingot |
To create Ingots, you need to smelt Ore in any Furnace. Ore deposits are typically clustered in the overworld, or you can set up an Ore Mining Site at your base to have Pals collect them for you. |
Stone |
Stone is simple to gather. You can mine rocks manually, or build a Stone Pit at your base and assign Pals to gather it. |
Ancient Civilization Parts |
Certain Sphere Modules require a good amount of Ancient Civilization Parts, which can be acquired by defeating or capturing low-level Alpha Pals like Sweepa at (-227, -593), Gummos at (-112, -62), or Chillet at (173, -417). |
Cement |
Once you reach level 19, you can craft Cement from 50x stone, 1x bone, and 1x pal fluid. |
Refined Ingot |
Create Refined Ingots by combining Ore and Coal in an Improved Furnace. You’ll need to unlock this furnace by reaching Level 34. |
Carbon Fiber |
To make Carbon Fiber, feed 2x Coal or 5x Charcoal into the Production Assembly Line. |
Pal Metal Ingot |
To create Pal Metal Ingots, you need to unlock, build, and power the Electric Furnace. Afterward, add 4x Ore and 2x Paldium Fragment to produce this material. |
Ancient Civilization Core |
Unlike Ancient Civilization Parts, these are obtained from Raid Bosses like Blazamut Ryu. Summoning and defeating them requires preparation for a challenging encounter. |
Plasteel |
To obtain Plasteel, you must first unlock it at level 50. You can then create it using an Electric Furnace with 5x Crude Oil, 5x Paldium Fragments, and 10x Ore. However, gathering Crude Oil is tricky, as you’ll need to either raid Oil Rigs or set up a Crude Oil Extractor in regions rich with crude oil deposits. |
Dark Fragment |
This resource can be dropped by new Dark-type Pals found on Feybreak Island. Whether you choose to capture or defeat them, Pals like Starryon, Dazzi Noct, and Omascul may yield one to three Dark Fragments. |
How To Use Sphere Modules
A Sphere Module is ready for use as soon as you craft and install it in the specified Sphere Module slot. Once inserted, your catching spheres gain an instant upgrade with no further actions needed.
You just need to select your target and throw the sphere. The module’s effect activates right away, whether you’re using the Curve Module to surprise Pals or the Homing Module for accurate targeting.
While some modules may seem to offer flashy features, modules like the Homing Module and Sniper Modules are exceptionally effective.
The enhanced capture power from each module is extremely advantageous, making it important to progress to Sphere Modules with even greater Capture Strength whenever possible.
