Fortnite Star Ninja Leaves Twitch And Joins Microsoft Mixer

Fornite Star Ninja, Aka, Tyler Blevins has revealed that he is moving ahead and joining Mixer as his main-streaming platform, leaving twitch behind. It is shocking to most as Twitch is the world’s number one streaming platform, and Mixer is just a new platform, having fewer users than Twitch.

Ninja has announced this shocking news on Twitter, stating that from now on Mixer will be his exclusively full-time streaming platform, further mentioning that he is going “back to his roots.” He also mentioned that his stream pattern will remain the same.

As i move ahead with the next step in my career, achieving big goals with Mixer will open new opportunities for me. I started off as a Halo player so working with Microsoft is going to be fun.

Obviously, Microsoft had offered something much bigger than Twitch to get him onboard. But, it is sure that Twitch would make an effort to keep their golden streamer. But, viewership of Ninja has recently recently been not so impressive keeping in mind that Fortnite star Ninja used to get a huge amount of viewers, as described by the next web. By joining Mixer, Ninja will be a big fish in a large small pound.

The mixer is previously known as Beam before it was purchased by Microsoft. It has the same donation system, a partnership program for streamers.

According to StreamLabs statistical report, Mixer has shown the growth of 119 million hours of watch time in July 2019 (357% increase in comparison to last year).

For twitch, they have a lot of streamers to take the throne of fortnite star Ninja, such as Shroud and TSM team. The mixer is expecting a lot of new signups ahead of Ninja’s first Fortnite stream on Mixer.
