Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik recently disclosed that she has received more than 70,000 marriage proposals from various countries around the globe.
In a recent podcast appearance, she opened up about her personal life and career journey. Reflecting on her early days in the industry, Veena recalled, “Starting my career felt like being on a wild ride. The first ten years were incredibly hectic; I was so busy that I hardly had time to remove my makeup. My older sister would help me by taking off my makeup and feeding me.”
When asked about her experiences during her career peak, particularly while on a reality show in India, Veena shared that she received proposals from all over the world. However, she was not directly aware of who was sending these messages, as she did not have personal contact with these individuals.
She mentioned that her team informed her about the overwhelming number of proposals—over 70,000—received during the wedding reality show. These requests came from places like Pakistan and India, although she expressed uncertainty about their authenticity. Veena questioned whether the proposals were genuine or if they were simply attempts by people seeking attention or fame.
It’s important to note that Veena Malik has a diverse career, having worked in both Pakistan and Bollywood. She moved to India in 2010 and spent several years there, appearing on the Indian reality show “Bigg Boss” and participating in wedding-themed shows. After a successful stint in Indian cinema, she relocated to Dubai in 2014.
