Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat and popular Indian rapper Honey Singh are making headlines with the announcement of their new song collaboration.
A video featuring the two has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Honey Singh raps in Punjabi and affectionately refers to Mehwish as “Sahaili Karachi,” which causes her to blush as he playfully teases her.
The caption accompanying the video hints at their hometowns, stating, “The bond between Karampura and Karachi, something special is coming soon.”
Honey Singh is a prominent figure in India’s hip-hop and rap scene, known for hits like “Lungi Dance,” “Party All Night,” “Aata Maaji Satakli,” and “Yaar Na Mile.” After falling out of the spotlight due to health issues, he made a comeback with his new album “Glory,” released on August 26, 2024.
To regain his former stature, Honey Singh is trying different approaches this year, including his partnership with Mehwish Hayat. He recently shared on Instagram that they are working on an exciting project together. Previously, Mehwish had mentioned her involvement in Honey Singh’s new song titled “Color.”
