Digital Phablet – Studio Trigger has officially introduced the full lineup of characters for Cyberpunk Edgerunners II after four consecutive days of revealing details about each character. Additionally, one of the most highly anticipated anime of the year is scheduled to debut on Netflix in fall 2026.
Netflix shared on social media, accompanied by the new visual, “New crew. Same chaos. Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2, arriving this fall exclusively on Netflix.”
According to Crunchyroll Studio, Trigger and Netflix have unveiled four main characters so far:
Weak Kingsley: An experienced Edgerunner who was once renowned as “King” for his dominance in the game. Now, he operates in the shadows, far removed from his former glory.

Next, we have D: A Snack Nation Netrunner dedicated to tracking down the killer of his wiped-out clan. He is celebrated for his advanced technical skills and relentless desire for revenge.
Center stage is Media, a “young cinephile seeking authentic stories in a city that has forsaken cinema for braindances. Obsessed with uncovering truths and observing the lives of others.”
Lastly, Talia Yang comes from the corporate towers but finds her true passion in chrome and violence.
The creators confirmed that Edgerunners II will stand on its own with a fresh cast and a darker, more intense tone. The sequel promises to be even more somber, raw, and gritty than the first season, as stated by director Kai Ikarashi with approval from the Polish studio behind the game, CD Projekt Red.
