On April 15, Kuaishou held a launch event in Beijing for its “Keling AI 2.0” model. During the event, Kuaishou’s Senior Vice President, Gai Kun, announced significant upgrades to the Keling AI foundational model, including the highly anticipated Keling 2.0 video generation model and Keling 2.0 image generation model. The upgrades continue to showcase global leadership in several areas, including dynamic quality, semantic responsiveness, and visual aesthetics, while also demonstrating notable improvements in instruction adherence, cinematic quality, and artistic style.
Since its debut last June, Keling AI has undergone more than 20 iterations. Currently, the user base for Keling AI has surpassed 22 million globally, with monthly active users increasing by 25 times over the last ten months. The platform has generated over 168 million videos and 344 million images to date.
This comprehensive upgrade of Kuaishou’s AI generation model aims to further strengthen its technological competitiveness within the short video content ecosystem. It is also set to provide creators with a richer and more intelligent toolkit for content production.
