The Indiana Jones Great Game puzzle is an expanded version of the game you encounter right after stepping inside the secret Sukhothai pyramid. This time, instead of game pieces, you’ll be working with people in the Great Circle. The mechanics are quite similar—position individuals (the pegs) to turn pieces so they face a specific way. However, the movement speed of the participants and the overall scale can make things a bit tricky. If you’re finding it challenging, here’s a guide on how to complete the Great Game in Indiana Jones.
Indiana Jones Great Game Solution
This is the solution to the Great Game puzzle in Indiana Jones, based on Indy’s own Journal.
The diagram is aligned as if you’re standing at the back of the room, looking towards the large statue that shifts once you solve the puzzle. The dark circles represent the hook-nosed pieces that rotate, while the open circles show where you need to position the people.
After positioning everyone and making sure the hook-nosed pieces are facing the giant statue, it will move aside, allowing you to continue your exploration of the area.
Keep in mind that there may be slight variations in the solution, as my configuration opened the door differently, particularly one spot that was second from the right.
I encountered a similar issue with the puzzle in the Indiana Jones game room where you first come across this challenge. The solution I found was just a little different from what Indy noted.
If you’re having a tough time with either configuration, be patient. The pressure pads on the floor and the people you’re positioning move at a slow pace. Allow time for everything to settle and observe the outcomes before trying anything else. Also, be mindful of your own movements, as stepping on the pressure pads can trigger actions that may confuse you about what’s happening based on others’ movements in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
