In Genshin Impact, tracking down the Dragonspine Stone Tablets presents one of the game’s most challenging puzzles. If you’ve explored Inazuma, you know this isn’t an easy feat! Successfully finding all the Stone Tablets in Dragonspine rewards you with access to a Secret Room, allowing you to claim a free four-star Claymore. However, be prepared to put in some effort to nab that prize.
To obtain the Snow-Tombed Starsilver Claymore, you’ll need a bit of guidance; otherwise, you might find yourself wandering aimlessly in search of these Stone Tablets. This guide will walk you through the locations of every Dragonspine Stone Tablet, as well as the locations of the Golden Boxes (Princess Box, Priest Box, and Scribe’s Box), the Sword Hilt challenge, and, of course, the Secret Room.
Quick Tips for Finding the Dragonspine Stone Tablets
- To find the Stone Tablet in the seventh location, you’ll need three Golden Boxes located at positions 1, 2, and 4. Don’t overlook these!
- Though this guide follows a specific order for efficiency, feel free to explore in any sequence you prefer.
- Stone Tablet number 5 can only be collected after unlocking the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain, so you might want to prioritize that first.
- To check how many Stone Tablets you’ve already discovered, visit location number 8. Each collected Tablet will activate a small rune in front of the stone door.
- Remember to perform the "observe" action (pressing F for PC players) whenever you find a Stone Tablet.
Location 1: Snow-Covered Path & the Princess’ Box
Start by teleporting to the Waypoint on the Snow-Covered Path, then look toward the Frostbearing Tree. Head to your left and climb the rocks. From the edge, you should see a small lake on the right and stone ruins with four torches to the left. Glide down to the Stone Tablet nestled between those torches.
Don’t forget to grab the first of the three Golden Boxes in this area: the Princess’ Box, located on a tiny island in the middle of the lake, visible from the Stone Tablet’s position. Activate the sword to trigger a challenge where you must defeat three Abyss Mages within one minute.
Location 2: Wyrmrest Valley & the Priest’s Box
Teleport to the Waypoint near Albedo’s campsite, then follow the western road until you encounter a large Ruin Grader; he’s guarding the Stone Tablet, so take him down to spawn a chest.
Here, you’ll need to collect another Golden Box. After locating the Stone Tablet, continue further along the road to the west until you find some stairs on your right. Collect three Anemograna (the small sparkling creatures) to create a wind current. Fly up to find a Luxurious Chest atop an old tower, which contains the Priest’s Box.
Location 3: Beneath Wyrmrest Valley
For this Stone Tablet, it’s recommended to unlock the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain first. Travel to the Teleport Waypoint beneath "Wyrmrest" on your map, located in the northwestern section of Dragonspine.
- If the Domain is unlocked, look for a large hole near the Waypoint and glide down to discover the Stone Tablet in a slightly elevated tunnel.
- If the Domain is still locked, activate the square mechanism to start a challenge where a Seelie will float between Cryo mechanisms. Utilize Cryo attacks on the mechanisms in the same order as the Seelie. Defeating the Ruin Guards that appear afterwards will allow you to reach the Stone Tablet.
Location 4: Frozen Square & the Scribe’s Box
Teleport to the Waypoint northwest of the Starglow Cavern region. Before heading south towards the frozen square, you can snag the last Golden Box. Walk down the path from the Waypoint until you spot a tombstone on your left. Offer three Cecilia flowers to spawn the chest containing the Scribe’s Box.
To unearth the Stone Tablet, interact with the two Seelies in the square. This will activate the mechanisms, but timing is crucial—ensure all Seelies activate the mechanisms at the same moment.
Once the frozen lake vanishes, you’ll repeat a similar puzzle in an empty square, this time with more mechanisms and Seelies. Activate the next Seelie when the first one is two mechanisms away. After completing this task, defeat a Ruin Guard to access a small area in the square with loot chests and Scarlet Quartz. Use the Scarlet Quartz to melt the ice beneath a stone slab, revealing the Stone Tablet.
Location 5: Peak of Vindagnyr Domain
If you’ve unlocked the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain, simply teleport there and turn away from the door to find the Stone Tablet right ahead.
If the Domain isn’t unlocked, complete the "In the Mountains" quest by:
- Locating three large ice shards hidden around Dragonspine, one near the Frostbearing Tree and the other two involving puzzles, one of which is explained earlier.
- Use Scarlet Quartz to break these ice shards.
- Clear three smaller ice shards after gaining access to the Domain.
Location 6: Starglow Cavern
Return to the Teleport Waypoint east of the Domain. Ascend through the cave, and you’ll notice an opening with a Ruin Guard on one side and the Stone Tablet on the other. You can avoid engaging the Ruin Guard if you’d like; just climb the rocks to get a closer look at the Tablet.
Location 7: Secret Room
Go back to the Teleport Waypoint east of the Domain. The quickest way to reach the Stone Tablet is to exit and climb the rocks on your right until you reach another cave entrance.
Move toward the cave, and you’ll see a large round door on your left, which leads to the Secret Room—the goal of collecting all those Golden Boxes. Offer the three Golden Boxes to open the door and access the Stone Tablet, plus a piece of Crimson Agate.
Location 8: Snow-Tombed Starsilver Claymore
Now it’s time to claim your well-deserved four-star weapon! Teleport to the Statue of the Seven and head to the circular stone ruins. Glide down to the left side where you’ll find a cave entrance with a sealed mechanism and a large stone door inside. If you haven’t been here yet, interact with the final Stone Tablet in this chamber. All eight runes should now be lit.
Activate the square mechanism to enter another secret room housing the Snow-Tombed Starsilver Claymore. Now, you’ve completed the Stone Tablet challenge!
