Fixing the Pet Shop in Luma Island: A Quick Guide

Island communities are not exempt from natural disasters like earthquakes. After a recent quake struck Luma Island, the town has taken quite a hit. The tremors caused significant damage to roads and pathways, and many buildings have been left in ruins, severely impacting the lives of local residents.

As a new member of this island community, it’s important to lend a helping hand. Your neighbors are in urgent need of assistance—especially if you have a knack for crafting practical materials. Grab your tools and materials because Zara and her animals are looking for a new place to call home.

How to Fix the Pet Shop

On the fifth morning, an earthquake will shake the island. While it won’t affect your farm, when you venture into town afterward, you will find much of the area in disrepair, with several shops and locations damaged.

Make your way to the northwestern part of town, where the Pet Shop is situated near the staircase leading up to Arianne’s house. You’ll find Zara standing outside, ready to talk.

Once you speak with her, you’ll receive a quest to help restore the shop. For the initial repairs, you will need five Farm Planks (crafted from Farm Logs at a Sawmill) and five Fibers (which can be made from Reeds at a Simple Workbench).

After gathering all the required materials, return to the Pet Shop and interact with it while the items are in your inventory.

The dilapidated Pet Shop will become a Broken Pet Shop, but your work isn’t quite done yet. You will need to gather additional materials to complete the restoration.

Once you’ve collected all the necessary materials, head back to the Pet Shop and interact with it once more. This time, you’ll find it fully repaired. Speak to Zara to receive your reward: 500 of each type of Spirit.
