Solving the Crystal Puzzle in Luma Island's Farm Area

Every great location filled with ruins has its share of puzzles, and Luma Island is no exception. As you adapt to island living, you’ll uncover numerous puzzles across your farm, from a locked shrine by the beach to enigmatic green lights that guide you towards hidden treasures.

One puzzle you might discover is the crystal statue located by the lake. Although the origins of this statue and its historical significance remain a mystery—save for some vague clues from the island’s non-human inhabitants—it’s clear that this statue is still operational.

How to Solve the Crystal Light Puzzle

The Crystal Light puzzle is situated in the northeastern corner of your farm, close to the lake shore. You’ll need to break through some Farm Boulders to access it.

After clearing the rocks, you’ll be faced with a large crystal surrounded by three panels that have slightly different colors: red and green on the right, and blue on the left.

Keep in mind that the blue and orange crystal panels found elsewhere on your farm are intended for a different puzzle entirely.

To complete this puzzle, you’ll need to hit the panels in a specific sequence. Each correct hit produces a burst of colored particles:

  • The red panel should be hit first.
  • The blue panel is second.
  • Then hit the green panel last.

Once you’ve struck all three panels in the correct order, the crystal will illuminate, revealing a blue treasure chest next to it as your reward.

Inside, you’ll find a selection of standard loot such as Farm Nature Tokens and Spirits. Additionally, blue chests carry a higher likelihood of containing rarer items, including Wheat Everseeds.
