Crafting Rocket Fuel in Satisfactory: A Step-by-Step Guide

The Satisfactory 1.0 update has brought several new items tailored for late-game stages, with Rocket Fuel being a significant addition. However, unlocking the recipe to produce this item involves some effort, so here’s a complete guide on what you’ll need to do.

Rocket Fuel is one of the various fuel options available in Satisfactory and serves multiple purposes, including powering buildings and vehicles. Unlike some easier-to-find fuels, crafting Rocket Fuel requires prior research on several other items, making it primarily a late-game resource without any head-lift requirements.

How to Unlock Rocket Fuel

To unlock Rocket Fuel, you’ll need to use the Molecular Analysis Machine (MAM) and start with research on Sulfur. From there, you need to unlock a series of nodes in the following order:

  • Sulfur > Black Powder > Experimental Power Generation > Compacted Coal > Turbofuel > Rocket Fuel

This process can take some time, but here’s a detailed breakdown of what you’ll need:

Node

Required Research Materials

Sulfur

10x Sulfur

Black Powder

50x Sulfur, 25x Coal

Experimental Power Generation

25x Sulfur, 50x Modular Frame, 100x Rotor

Compacted Coal

1x Hard Drive, 25x Sulfur, 25x Coal

Turbofuel

1x Hard Drive, 15x Compacted Coal, 50x Packaged Fuel

Rocket Fuel

1x Hard Drive, 10x Empty Fluid Tank, 50x Packaged Turbofuel

Once you have successfully unlocked each item on this list, you’ll be able to craft Rocket Fuel in Satisfactory.

How to Craft Rocket Fuel

Before you can craft Rocket Fuel, you need to build the Blender, which is unlocked after finishing Space Elevator Phase 3 and the Control System Development in Tier 7.

To create Rocket Fuel, gather the following items and add them to the Blender:

  • 6x Turbofuel
  • 1x Nitric Acid

With these materials, you’ll produce 10x Rocket Fuel and 1x Compacted Coal. The Blender will take six seconds to process, and if you have sufficient raw materials, you can produce up to 100 Rocket Fuels per minute.

Remember to use Packaged Rocket Fuel when fueling vehicles to navigate the map.

Uses of Rocket Fuel in Satisfactory

Rocket Fuel can be utilized for a variety of purposes, particularly with the enhancements brought by the 1.0 update. It plays a crucial role in crafting Ionized Fuel and Packaged Rocket Fuel. Additionally, it can be used to power Fuel-Powered Generators.

Consider packaging it to fuel various vehicles or your Jetpack. Using the Jetpack allows for an exciting experience, enabling you to soar like Ironman and navigate the air, easily avoiding many obstacles and potential threats on the ground.
