Sengoku Dynasty immerses players in the era of feudal Japan, where survival and leadership are key as you build your own dynasty. As you advance in the game, you’ll establish yourself as a significant leader and skilled craftsman within the Peasant Kingdom.
When starting your first village, you’ll quickly realize the need for various materials to create even the simplest structures. Straw is one of these essential materials that you’ll frequently use. While it can be found without too much trouble, knowing how to properly collect it will make the process easier.
How to Obtain Straw in Sengoku Dynasty
Straw is easily crafted from grass. To start, gather a good amount of grass, either in your inventory or in the Dynasty General Storage building. After collecting at least two units of grass, switch to having empty hands and access the crafting menu. From there, select the straw option located in the bottom left corner of the crafting wheel menu.
You can create several units of straw by choosing the ‘Craft More’ option and indicating how many you wish to make. Keep in mind that the total number of straws you can craft relies on the amount of grass you have in your inventory or stored in the Dynasty General Storage.
If you’re still in the early stages of the game, consider heading east of the burned village in Sosogi. There, you can find several haystacks. Harvesting these haystacks can yield around 15 to 20 straws each, providing you with enough for your initial needs.
Uses of Straw in Sengoku Dynasty
Straw can be utilized to create wooden torches or candles, which are incredibly helpful during nighttime or in dark mining caves where visibility is limited. Additionally, straw is necessary for constructing certain elements of various buildings.
One of the primary uses of straw in the game is to craft ropes. Ropes are essential for many crafting recipes, including bows and various components of specific structures.
