Locating the Chicken Hat in Mirthwood: A Quick Guide

In Mirthwood, clothing plays a crucial role as it enhances your defense stats and provides various buffs to your character. You can acquire outfits from traders or discover them as loot throughout the game world. If you find a rare clothing item with low defense, consider it a chance to make some extra coins.

The Chicken Hat is a distinctive accessory you can discover during your adventures. Whether you’re aiming to switch up your appearance or searching for gear with a bit of flair, the Chicken Hat serves both purposes. Plus, it adds a touch of humor to your look!

Overview of the Chicken Hat

While the Chicken Hat is more of a costume piece than protective gear, it’s regarded as a rare item. Higher rarity items fetch better prices in the game. If you find yourself struggling financially at the beginning, selling the Chicken Hat is a solid option if you don’t want to settle for its lone defense rating.

Finding the Chicken Hat

Player standing by a crate and an orange star on the Mirthwood map.

To find the Chicken Hat early in the game, simply head to Northdell Farm.

You don’t need to complete any prior quests, nor do you have to visit the nearest town first.

Northdell Farm is located to the east of your home base. Just follow the main path that heads east and take the first southward path you come across. If you’re coming from Brightoak, take the north path that appears at the end of town. This route will lead you directly to Northdell Farm.

The Chicken Hat’s location is marked with an orange star on the map shown above.

You’ll spot a lighthouse or silo at the pathway’s corner. There’s a crate you can loot next to a tree by the well in front of the building, and inside of it, you’ll find the Chicken Hat.

Northdell Farm is also where you can buy most of your farming essentials like seeds and animal care items. A market stall is situated south of where the Chicken Hat is located.
