Once you’ve unlocked the Magic Shop and Shuffling Sheep in Farmagia by advancing the storyline, you can embark on various quests that offer generous rewards. It’s beneficial to complete as many of these as you can. Occasionally, you will encounter special Limited quests like Dentro’s Trials.
Limited Quests are more challenging than standard quests, but they provide excellent rewards once completed. Dentro, a wise character, will acknowledge your efforts and skill in Farmagia through the trials he created. To pass his first trial, you’ll need to defeat the specified boss found in the Sundown Forest: Zone 1.
Suggested Preparations for Battle
The limitation of using only specific Battle Buddies for Dentro’s Trials makes these challenges considerably tougher. For your initial quest, you can only use the Arkies available at the Ranch. It’s essential to level them up to at least 11, especially if you’re playing on hard mode. Additionally, ensure that you cultivate plenty of Arkies on your farm to be ready for battle.
Arkies are Long-Range Attackers excelling at combo moves, so be sure to acquire Fairy Skills to enhance their effectiveness. Focus on boosting your critical attack statistics. Utilizing the Black Fairy to summon more Arkies from your ranch can provide extra support if needed.
Fairy Skills | Description |
---|---|
Raging Gale | Increases Blitz damage when you have a B combo rank or higher. |
Elemental Courage | This boosts your Fusion damage for quicker enemy takedowns. |
Demon Mantis Doom | Requires your combo rank to be S for a significant damage boost. |
Bloom of Strikes | Your Blitz Gauge charges faster during combos, increasing your overall damage. |
Demon Mantis Strike | Achieve an A combo rank to benefit from enhanced critical damage. |
Combo Strike | A series of relentless attacks that result in greater damage output. |
Consider raising some Research Buddies to unlock powerful United Forms for your Arkie. The Wind Arkie is the most effective choice for this dungeon, but if you invest some time in leveling, you can also equip the Hippogriff.
Enemies Encountered During Dentro’s First Trial
To complete your trial, navigate through the Sundown Forest: Zone 1 until you reach the boss floor and take on the designated Forest Knight. Be prepared to face some tough adversaries that you can only defeat using your Arkies.
You might also want to explore some Monster Nests if time allows before facing the boss. If you’re well-equipped with Fairy skills, consider taking The Neural Road to Item Vines instead of Fairy Dens for some great rewards.
Tip: Focus on eliminating one enemy at a time to minimize incoming damage. This way, you can take down one before confronting the next.
Enemy | Description |
---|---|
Rock Golem | A resilient foe that delivers unblockable attacks, which you can counter with Unite Counters. |
Spottie | These weaker mobs attack in teams, but their strikes are light and easily blocked. |
Tripiliar | A low-threat enemy often found in groups; can be defeated with just a few strikes. |
Muck Karkinos | A formidable opponent boasting high HP and long-range attacks that can be dodged. |
How to Defeat the Forest Knight
Since you’re only using Arkies in this battle, you’ll rely on long-range combat against the Forest Knight. Fortunately, it doesn’t perform unblockable attacks, making it easier to defeat as long as you protect your Buddies.
The Forest Knight will slam its tail on the ground, creating a wide attack range. It may also strike within a smaller radius. Both of these attacks can be countered with a Perfect Guard.
Be cautious about its circular wind attacks; you can either guard against these or simply avoid the projected area. Additionally, the Knight might launch three wind projectiles at you, which can also be Perfect Guarded.
Rewards for Completing Dentro’s First Trial
After defeating the boss, make your way back to Shuffling Sheep to access the Quest option. Here, you can report your completion and collect your deserved rewards.
- Magia x10,000
- Leaf Mold Clay x30
- Lunar Flower x3
The significant amount of Magia allows you to purchase valuable items from the Magic Shop. The Leaf Mold Clay is useful for crafting Evolution Aid, which helps create powerful Battle Buddy subspecies. Meanwhile, the Lunar Flower, which is rare in Mazes, can be sold for a considerable profit.
