The Pulley Bow in Elden Ring is a ranged weapon classified as a Longbow. While it is a special item in the game, its attacks are purely physical, making it a standout choice within its category.
Among the numerous ranged weapons and bows available in Elden Ring, the Pulley Bow remains our top recommendation for both Strength and Dexterity builds. This guide will provide you with in-depth information on where to find this elusive bow and how to enhance its capabilities to the max.
Where to Find the Pulley Bow
You can find the Pulley Bow atop a tower in the Mt. Gelmir region. Although this area is typically reached later in the game, you can access it earlier by being captured by the Abductor Virgin enemy located at the base of Raya Lucaria Academy.
Once you’ve arrived at Mt. Gelmir, be sure to activate the First Mt. Gelmir Site of Grace situated just east of Volcano Manor. Follow the glowing grace path until you discover a dilapidated campsite with a large tower in the middle.
This area is overrun with undead soldiers and features a Pumpkin Head mini-boss. Head to the back of the tower to ascend the first ladder leading inside. Then, use the second ladder to access the interior. Don’t forget to grab some Fire Arrows as you proceed, because you’re just a short distance away from the Pulley Bow!
From here, climb another ladder directly in front of you to access the top of the tower. Interact with the corpse located at the edge to claim the Pulley Bow.
Pulley Bow: Stats and Requirements
To wield the Pulley Bow, you’ll need a minimum of 11 Strength and 11 Dexterity. These requirements are fairly low in comparison to the Albinauric Bow.
The Pulley Bow scales with both Strength (D) and Dexterity (D), making it an excellent choice for players who focus on these stats but still want to engage enemies from a distance.
Its base damage is 55, and it can be upgraded to +10 using Somber Smithing Stones. At its maximum enhancement, it delivers a notable 188 physical damage.
The unique ability of the Pulley Bow is called Mighty Shot, which consumes 5 FP. Note that it cannot be imbued with any Ashes of War, nor can it accept any grease. Additionally, the Pulley Bow can be sold to any merchant for 50 Runes.
