Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Joins Snoop Dogg Eminem And More

Fortnite is introducing a highly anticipated event for its new season, Chapter 2 Remix, running throughout November. This music-centric celebration will feature collaborations with renowned artists like Snoop Dogg and Eminem, remixing the game’s map every week.

This recent update is part of Epic Games’ vision to establish Fortnite as the “ultimate hub for social entertainment experiences,” as shared by an Epic representative during a press conference. Previously, the game has engaged in musical partnerships, including last year’s Guitar Hero-like mode, Fortnite Festival. This new season elevates that concept by bringing four major music icons into the mix.

The Chapter 2 Remix will unfold in three acts. The first act kicked off tonight with a live concert featuring Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice at Times Square in New York City, with a live stream available within Fortnite.

The full season kicks off tomorrow, November 2, with each week in November showcasing a different artist’s unique signature style within the game. To start, Snoop Dogg will transform The Agency point of interest into The Doggpound, where players can defeat him to earn Snoop’s mythical Drum Gun. Furthermore, the Boogie Bomb will be updated to play his hit song Drop It Like It’s Hot and initiate a dance when tossed. Additionally, Snoop will be showcased as the Icon for Season 6 of Fortnite Festival.

Ice Spice will take center stage in week three, reimagining Shark Island as Ice Isle. Defeating her will reward players with the Ice Spice’s Grappler and Rifle mythics, along with two outfits in the shop for that duration.

The final week will honor Juice WRLD, a beloved figure among Fortnite enthusiasts, who sadly passed away in 2019. Epic is collaborating with the artist’s estate for this tribute. Players can log in on November 30 to receive a cel-shaded Slyer Juice WRLD Outfit inspired by him. The event will wrap up with a grand finale titled Remix: The Finale on November 30.

In addition to these transformations, Fortnite is also introducing a new customization feature: Kicks, which are sneakers players can equip their characters with. Epic has partnered with well-known shoe brands, including Nike, to introduce Air Jordans via this season’s battle pass.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix launches on Saturday, November 2, and will continue until November 30. Players can earn a Golden Scythe Pickaxe by accumulating 140,000 XP in Fortnite between November 2 and November 11.
