Ever since season 5 wrapped up, Cobra Kai has been hinting at the Sekai Taikai, the world’s most esteemed karate tournament. In the newest trailer for season 6, part 2, the moment to battle has finally arrived. Under the guidance of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), the students from Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang unite and set off for Spain to participate in the Sekai Taikai.

But they’re not the only dojos vying for glory; their archrivals at Cobra Kai are also in the running. The competitors soon discover that the Sekai Taikai is more than just a local event—it’s a global contest featuring top dojos from around the world, all fighting for karate dominance.

“We’re Miyagi-Do. We’re not losing,” asserts Lawrence with confidence as his students gear up for the tournament.
