Updated on October 21, 2024, by Christian Pellegrino: As noted earlier, this year’s Halloween Event will incorporate numerous features and improvements. This guide has been updated to reflect the first part of the event and will be revised again next week for the second part.

Debuting in Pokemon Go

Morpeko in two forms, Fully Belly and Hangry, with a decorative frame.

Morpeko makes its debut in Pokemon Go during this Halloween Event! Players can catch Morpeko as a research reward from both free and paid Timed Research tasks throughout the event.

Moreover, Morpeko will also be available as a reward in the current Go Battle League. During the event, players have increased chances of encountering Morpeko from the Premium Track rewards.

After the event wraps up, Morpeko can still be encountered in the Go Battle League from Rank 16 and up.

These encounters will occur in both Standard and Premium Tracks but will be more frequent in the Premium Track.

Unique to Pokemon Go, Morpeko can shift between two forms during battles: Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode.

In either form, Morpeko can use a special Charged Attack called Aura Wheel, functioning as an Electric-type attack in Full Belly Mode and a Dark-type attack in Hangry Mode.

Below are the stats for Aura Wheel:
