In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you collaborate with a variety of beloved Disney and Pixar characters to enhance the village. After you’ve helped to heal the valley from the damage caused by the Forgetting, your mission is to prevent it from happening again. Be wary of the Night Mites, which can suddenly appear and disrupt the harmony you’ve worked so hard to restore!
Fortunately, Timon and Pumbaa are ready to assist you! Together, the three of you can ensure the village remains secure from further disasters, and afterward, the famous duo can indulge in a hearty meal. Here’s a guide on locating the Night Mite Queen and how to capture her!
Where to Find the Night Mite Queen
Once you have completed the first two parts of the questline, it’s time to check in with Timon for your next steps. He will guide you to the portal leading to the Dark Castle located in the Plaza. The remaining Night Mites, including the queen, are just inside the castle!
Jump through the portal and talk to Timon inside, then make your way into the Dark Castle. You’ll need to eliminate all five nests and ten Night Mites within the castle. If you find it challenging to reach them, clear out any Night Thorns blocking your path!
Tip: There can be up to three Night Mites in each section of the castle, along with at least one nest.
After you’ve dealt with all the Night Mites, regroup with Timon at the castle’s upper level. He has discovered the Night Mite Queen’s Nest, but the glowing rocks are preventing you from reaching it alone.
Go to the barrel by the balcony and pick up the Dark Pickaxe Upgrade. Use it from your inventory, and break through the rocks to access the queen’s nest.
Next, capture the three mites that emerge from the broken nest, along with the queen herself, to completely clear the castle. Return to Timon and then head back through the portal to Dreamlight Valley.
Note: You can’t progress any further until you complete The Infestation Finale with Merlin!
After enjoying a feast of bugs, you can talk to Timon to wrap up the quest and unlock the Jungle Couture Gown as his newest best friend!
