Paramount+ has harnessed generative AI to roll out new themed collections centered around content specifically for kids, making it easier for families to find suitable programming. This innovative use of technology allows Paramount+ to spotlight both classic and newer shows that may not have been noticed by subscribers, enhancing the overall viewing experience for both children and their parents.

This initiative stems from valuable insights gathered from customers. Many children and their parents gravitate towards particular themes in programming. Through various research efforts that involved conversations with both kids and their caregivers, Paramount+ identified key themes to curate these collections. Some examples of themed collections include Space Exploration, Goofy Stuff, Daring Stunts, Treasure Hunting, Secret Worlds, and Exploring Nature.

The children-oriented content is now easily accessible through the “Older Kids” profiles, which cater to audiences aged six to 13. When a parent creates a child’s profile on Paramount+, the platform ensures that only age-appropriate shows are displayed, filtering out any content that may be unsuitable.

To set up a child’s profile on Paramount+, simply log in and click Add Profile in the upper right corner. Input your child’s name, activate Kids Mode, and choose Older Kids. Keep in mind that this profile will feature programming rated TV-Y, G, TV-Y7, TV-Y7-FV, TV-G, TV-PG, and PG.
