PlayStation – The Concert Teaser Trailer

Sony is enhancing its celebration of the PlayStation’s 30th anniversary with an exciting new concert series. This series will showcase music from some of the most beloved contemporary games, kicking off in the U.K. and Europe in April of next year.

PlayStation: The Concert will feature tracks from standout PS5 titles such as God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon. Attendees can expect impressive production elements, including a recent announcement on the PlayStation blog detailing that these concerts will incorporate “multi-layered visuals” through LED and projection technology. While specific details are still under wraps, an FAQ on the website indicates that fans can look forward to seeing “iconic moments” from the featured games. In addition to stunning visuals, the concerts will offer surround sound for an engaging, immersive experience—essentially, the audio quality fans would expect from any great concert.

The concert tour is set to launch in Dublin, Ireland, on April 19, 2025, with stops throughout Europe, including Amsterdam, Paris, Hungary, Poland, and Norway, extending through May. The series will eventually touch down in the U.S. and possibly other regions, although exact dates and locations beyond 2026 have yet to be revealed.

Those interested in attending can begin purchasing tickets on October 18, with early access available by using the code PLAYCONCERT24 starting October 16.

The official date of the PlayStation’s 30th anniversary is December 3, commemorating the launch of the original PlayStation console in Japan. In addition to the concert series, the company has unveiled various special-edition consoles and accessories that tap into the nostalgia of the original gray design. Fans will also be treated to gifts such as My First GT, a curated Gran Turismo free trial, and some never-released digital soundtracks. Additionally, PlayStation is offering themed board games featuring iconic gaming shapes like triangles, X’s, circles, and squares, set to be released on December 9.
